NCU Training’s annual leave year runs from January through to December. All employees have an entitlement to holidays irrespective of employment status or length of service. Employees are entitled to a minimum of 21 days holiday per the calendar year. New or part-time employees will receive their entitlement on a pro-rata basis.
All employees must give a minimum of two weeks notice of their intention to take annual leave to their Manager by completing a holiday request form. Employees are entitled to holiday pay before their annual leave and should indicate to their Manager if they wish to avail of this facility.
All employees are entitled to the benefit of the nine public holidays that occur during the year.
It should be noted that Good Friday is not a Public Holiday and will be given at the discretion of the management.
