NCU Training will ensure that all facilities are adequate and maintained in accordance with legislation. These facilities include heating, lighting, ventilation and sanitary facilities.
Should employees consider that the facilities are not adequate or are not being maintained correctly, they should inform their Manager.
To protect the safety, health and welfare of all in the organisation, employees must ensure that their work areas are kept tidy and free from rubbish. Only essential materials and items should be left on employees' desks or in their work area.
Employees using essential or confidential materials or equipment are asked to return it to the correct place or to store it safely, at the end of use and the end of each day.
To maintain a safe work environment, and to protect the health and safety of all employees carrying out tasks involving moving goods/materials:
A high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is expected at NCU Training. This is to ensure that working conditions are pleasant for all employees and also to protect the safety, health and welfare of all.
Employees are expected to help maintain these standards throughout the company.
