NCU Training operates an open door policy to enhance communications, resolve employee issues and enhance a positive working environment. The goal of this policy is to outline the company’s approach to operating this open door policy.
This policy applies equally to all employees.
It is NCU Training’s philosophy that all employees have a valuable contribution to make in the workplace, and that the ideas and suggestions of employees can contribute to the improved operation of this company. Therefore, any suggestions or comments on how the business operates are welcome. Similarly, employees are encouraged to voice any concerns they may have as regards the workplace, particularly where such matters may obstruct the smooth operation of day to day business. Such discussions should be conducted with the relevant members of management or staff.
NCU Training operates an open door policy which encourages open communication between management and employees. An employee may make an informal approach to another employee or Manager to discuss and/or resolve any issue, concern, idea or suggestion that they may have. The discussion will be held openly and follow up steps may be agreed between the parties. Meetings will be arranged at a time that is suitable to all parties, as agreed.
The open door policy should be used to address issues of concern to an employee as soon as a situation arises. However, should it not be possible to resolve an issue through this open channel, then the employee should refer to the company’s Grievance Procedure, to establish the correct manner in which to raise a formal grievance.
